Has anybody used this to code your m3 for aftermarket seats? If so, I'm so down to get it!

I don't think there was an option to disable the airbag sensor on the coding list.

I just got this and quickly sent the developers a full list of coding options from the Google Docs repository. Hopefully he can put most of that list in for us!!

For those of you with Android (I have both but opted the droid route because of this) you can buy a simple micro USB to USB female adapter for $5 and use the regular USB coding cable many of you have.

In my case I have used laptops with VMs for years to code my BMWs but got tired of putting together my toolkits, looking for daten files and keeping it all running. This solution is super clean. One app, simple buttons and you get what you want. If we can get the coding to be complete this will be unbeatable.

I highly recommend it!

I spent a whole month trying to figure out how to install and setup vmware and ncs. This BMWhat app does almost everything I need it to and its so much more convenient.

Great tool and app...but he does say no coding over Wi-Fi for early builds. You must be right at the cut-off.

What if you've had your car coded already and you change a few things with this App...will it reset the other parameters that were changed before but inaccessible (currently) with this app?

No. It will only change the individual parameter you specify.

Is it possible to reset adaptations with this? I know it's possible with INPA, but I'd like to be able to reset my transmission adaptation, for example.

When I click on parameters, all I see is a bunch of blank rectangles. I can't click on them to view anything?

I talked to the guys. Bought a full install and then it said the ECU isn't supported. They said they got some parameters but it will take weeks to program. But they do appear to be receptive to working on adding it. Will updated when I get word from them.

Same here. About to scrap all that and buy this ASAP. Thank god the other stuff was only $20 off EBay. This will be about $70 all in including the App. Money well spent! If anybody wants my OBD USB cable PM me. I'll throw the disc in too.

Just got the BMWhat App on my IPhone and the WiFi OBD2 adapter/reader below. All I can say is WOW!!!! $70 extremely well spent. Tested it on a friends BMW that is outta warranty and it is AMAZING. The phone finds it right away via WiFi and away you go. Recognized ALL his ECU's as compatible for coding except one. A truly exceptional product and user friendly as well. My only gripe and it's minor is you should invest in a battery tender as I could see his battery slowly being drained on the meter. We only had it on the car 20 minutes or so but the car must be in the ON position. That's my only beef and not a big deal. Unbelievable!!!!!

I don't know if it is a bad thing but I have used BMWhat a bunch of times reading/clearing codes while the car is running.

I don't think so but I am no expert and would like a definitive answer on that as well. It would save from buying a battery tender.
