Congrats! I agree with whoever said that those carbon bits are great on a white car.
I really like that Black & Palladium interior combo. Post pics! Oh, and I nearly went past 5500 rpm today. It's VERY hard to stay below it. I'm trying so hard to be good...........

I didn't get to take pics today but I most likely will tomorrow, as I'm off! I now have 37 miles on her and went a lil bit over 5500 rpms today :/ but I won't make a habit of it. lol
Thanks for all the welcomes. I'll get pics of the interior too. I didn't think I'd like it from pics but the gray is MUCH darker than I thought it would be. I really like it. and the trim (I was expecting carbon fiber judging from the outside) is called blue-gray aluminum... When I saw that on the sticker I was like o great the palladium is going to look blue like in some pics and the trim matches! but FYI, the trim has 0 blue. It looks like aluminum that someone rough sanded...I kinda like it. And with no tint and the sun shining directly on the seats, there is a little bluish gray tint, but not really noticeable. I know 100% once I get the windows tinted and it's not so bright in there this interior would actually be my first choice

Congrats! I totally forgot about the break in period too and pushed my m3 to 150mph at the Autobahn last May. Now it has 4k miles in it had it serviced and so far so good. Though it feels like it doesn't respond as quick compared to when I first drove it out the Welt. Could be the speed limit fear playing with my mind, but I blame it to the air in New Jersey. Lol

I updated the original post with a couple of crappy iphone pics for now. Still haven't gotten a chance to clean it up and take some good ones. But the interior pic is pretty decent. I think it pretty accurately represents how it looks in person. Other than the smudge on the window that appears to be on my driver seat LOL

Congrats! It's hard but follow the break-in. I did the same as you did, i had a lovely S5 (without nanny-tranney) Refined, somewhat fast but after break-in and you can push the M3 to 8400 RPM's it's like nothing else. Ever noticed the 4.2L V8 in the S5 just kinda ran out of steam around 6k? M3 is just getting started!
Any performance modding planned? intake/exhaust/xpipe and tune. Nice HP bump. |

As for performance, I'd like to do all of the above to it but as of now, no solid plans. I've always been very financially...savvy. I worked nights in highschool, always saved, played stocks, did bonds, etc, etc...but cars are my weakness... I buy WAY too expensive of cars for my income lol. I just turned 24 and am paying for grad school. So though I can AFFORD to deck this thing out, my financially responsible side is currently winning the self debate to mod. in the last year i've had a 2012 Dodge Diesel Laramie Longhorn crew cab 4x4...It was over $60k and I spent almost $20k on an 8" lift kit, 22" rims, 38" tires, 5" exhaust and downpipe, and a black maxx programmer...sold it, bought the S5 and decided NO modding, it wasn't a smart thing to do financially. I ended up with a tune, air filter, and full exhaust...SOOOOOO, we shall see

Thanks. When I heard that's what interior it had I actually said never mind; I'm not interested. My fiance saw it and told me that she really thought I should come see it before I said no so I did. Fell in love instantly lol It's now my favorite interior
