Guys, have a look at this FAQ at this (editorial comment: HILARIOUS) web page: http://riceboypage.com/faq/ . I think this Asian fellow has a very reasonable view of the term rice/ricer and whether or not it is racist.

Thanks for this link. It is pretty Ffunny. My favorite section is the following question:

"I drive this car, with these mods. Am I a rice-boy?
- I get this question a lot. Someone will describe to me what kind of car they drive and what they have done to it to get an opinion from "the expert" on whether their car is rice or not rice. ?"

Also, the attached pic caught my attention as I believe the "riced-out" exhaust looks even meaner than the exhaust of the vehicle in question on this thread.

The term 'ricer' just sounds ignorant IMO. Although to some, it's harmless.

The day someone comes up w/ food terminology for German cars... well... I'll let you decide.

Anyways, enough about this.

Back to the topic of discussion....

it is ignorant. every asian car has to have a ricer label.
but then we live in a country where EVERYTHING and EVERYONE has a label attached

Biggest quad exhaust I've seen... gives you the impression it's powered by a monster 10 litre engine I'm reserved about its looks, but it's certainly brawny.

r32 was good
r33 was great
r34 was better
and now this..

I wish I had one.

And I can't even imagine how anyone can accuse this car of being 'ricey'. I think people here don't know what the term means.

Uh, this has been going on for 11ty billion years. The term "Kraut"(as in sauerkrout) was the only food deemed worthy enough. However, it just never sticks nor has the ability to sum up the same connotation that "Rice" or even "Ghetto" do. Oh well, keep working on that.

In regards to the GTR I think it looks awesome and is a great evolution on the skyline look. If it werent for the skyline, we wouldnt have the STi or the Evo, thats for sure.

If you look at the rear from the license plate down it looks very f430'ish. Makes me a fan.
