If you want a full exhaust without drone, I would lean towards Dinan or Akra. The new clip of the ESS exhaust sounds mean too, similar to the Active Autowerke but it's tough to tell online. The louder and deeper any exhaust is, the more prone they are to drone. The Eisenmann race sounds great initially, then drones once it gets some miles on it. The sport is almost too quiet. Definitely listen to as many as you can in person to see what you like. Sound preference is very subjective!

Lafayette was happening, but only 2 of us with E9x M3s. There were 3 M5s representing 3 generations, a classic old M6, 2002, Z4M, Z3s, and a bunch of hotrods, supercars (mostly red Ferraris), classic muscle cars, classic roadsters and sportscars. I'll be going to the NASA show at Lodo's at noon.

Any exhaustive updates?
With all this snow, I thought it was as good an occasion as any to bump this thread with our list, which hasn't been updated since July!

I updated my screen name from the 135er, Todd sold his M3 and moved into an RS5. His x pipe with HFC will be installed onto JABSprings car shortly, weather permitting.
JP's car is also long gone |

Still here with my Akra. Starting to feel the itch for a full Dinan system...

It's official. I've swapped for the MPE. Eisenmann Race is going on sale.

By the by, my Eisenmann Race exhaust is now for sale. Local sale, so check it out. It's in great condition with low miles, always garaged. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1008911
