interested regarding the dsc off via m settings...might have to get that..thanx.. don't forget to code the corner deletes..another nice one I have coded is the fuel reserve warning to go off at 1/8 rather than 1/4 of a tank

Corner delete is a possibility but it doesn't really bother me. Fuel reserve change would be a nice option to have. 1/4 tank is annoying.

probably a dumb question but Ill ask anyway.
why wont the dealer code for you ? not talking about crazy things, but options like folding the mirrors or the ability to roll the windows up with your key ? if the options exist, why cant we have the dealer do it ? |

Plain & Simple. Most of the options are not intended for the US market due our litigious society. The dealer will not code for functionality that is not intended for the market. Not to mention, can you imagine how much the dealer would charge for stuff if they could to do it.

Dealer fails at using their own equipment! They can do it with SSS. Little things they can do, just not stuff like DVD in motion etc..

Pretty dumb question, but here it goes.
Can I code my car for the items Such as mirrors folding when locking/unlocking etc. without having the iDrive module? My car does not have iDrive, 2009 328xi. Thanks Antony |

If your car already has folding mirrors it should be doable via the key and key fob.

OP's been an //M enthusiast for MANY years now. He helped me install a 3 spoke wheel in my E36 M3 WAY back in the day.
He just activated the alarm on my wife's 335i, which I've been putting off for years because the stealers wanted an hour of labor. tlp did it in about 20 minutes. What's the Nav fuel stop suggestion? It finds a gas station for your based on your route? Thanks again.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I haven't tested the Fuel Stop Suggestion but it supposed to suggest gas stations along way during route guidance in the POI menu I believe.

My buddy has a gt1 and codes for most standard features but he has no idea where the options you mentioned are... What module or way do you use for coding?
