Cool man! I actually inspected a car carrier in San Diego a few months ago. Amazing how they cram them cars in there and how they unload them, etc. The vessel I inspected was not BMW's, but there were 3 sick ass Gallardo's in there!

Congrats! I hope they deliver it soon...post some pics!

So there goes the indiana jones idea... how about a james bond night time scuba attack on the VPC from the ocean side?

??? So they are saying all the lease details and paperwork are inside the car and won't know till they get it?
BS, it has to be in the system now.

That's what I had been told previously, so I was hoping your prior info was true. Are they shipping it on 3/8 or shipping it to ARRIVE by 3/8?

Shipping it on 3/8, arriving probably the same day being it's only a two hour drive from Oxnard to South Bay.

Mine gets in 3/10, so hoping to see it in Oregon within 1 week. 3/15 would be even better. Good luck on the wait!

Likewise Greg, it's going to be a rough two/three weeks.

Best way to pass the time I guess is getting my '01 sold. Picked up some stock wheels/tires last week, as I think I'll keep the RAC RG4s. Detailing this weekend and posting for sale within a week, I guess. In the mid-20s it will give someone without new car means a great ride. Only 57k mi. and excellent condition.

Someone's going to love your car. Having the new M3 come out opens the E46 up to a whole new class of buyers. I'm in the same boat as you, I have to ditch my Comp. M3 really soon.

Haha! Yeah, no kidding about those potholes. A few times I've hit some so big I actually felt the need to stop my car and get out and check for damage. Luckily, I've been unscathed so far. The noise you hear when you hit a big one tough, it's horrible. I actually have dreams of this shit. Just last night I dreamed of a pothole that was around 4 feet wide by 1 foot tall and 2 feet deep. LOL!

How can a pothole be both tall and deep?
