What is this winter you keep talking about? It was in the high 80s here yesterday thanks to a cold front.

Sorry All, just had to rant. S65 loves this cool weather but my time off for track days is done!

Yes Endless619, we get winter here but nothing compared to Maine. I'll stop complaining. ....

At least you still have 93 octane winter blend. It's always fun spinning the summer tires all the way through second when it's cold though. I'm still trying to hold off installing my winter set....

Easy! Grab the skis and ride out on the snow tires! I can't fathom how people live in 90+ degree heat for most of the year.

I am leaving my Summer tires on. I take the M3 out when it snows sometimes. But not the heavy snow. They plow every 30 minutes or so when its really bad. X5 with extreme rain and snow tires does that duty!

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. People seem to recommend continuous sub 40 degree for winter tires.
The tires do feel less grabby now that it's around 45 here.

Summer just started in San Francisco - we're always a season or two behind.

It is! My PS2's on the 5 series were toast and I had to replace them to pass PA Inspection. I still have my Cups on the M3 and snow hasn't started yet!

P.S. My Boat was stored today - Just having a bad day!

They check tires in the state inspection? Seems overreaching.

Good call. It'll be the first cold day of the season for us here in Austin, TX. 45 F is cold(ish) for us... Gonna wake up the M3 early, let 'er rip, and point her at some breakfast tacos!!

Edit: that's the AM low. It'll be in the 70's after noon. But I get up before the sun does...

I lived in PA as a kid......learned to ice skate on a local river at 3 yrs. old. Now winters consist of 40 degrees and rain. (pacific northwest)
