blue loctite on brembo caliper bolts?
Hey guys. I am in the middle of changing pads on my brembo bbk.
Should I use blue loctite on the two main retaining bolts on my calipers? |

I use red Loctite on those bolts with my Stoptechs...that's what comes with the kit as well.

Don't use loctite! The manual says no. Here is a link. Torque specs inside.
Also punch out the top pin first (loaded pin). Otherwise it is very difficult (or impossible) to punch out. Lining up the caliper is not a problem if the pads are brand new. I did the procedure recently but don't remember any other tips anymore. Stoptech should be easier to swap, but the monobloc is pretty easy too IMO. |

Yea I just torque to 85. Never had issues with them loosening up.
