Just picked up a stock X-Pipe with ACM test pipes today!

Had the ACM testpipe installed today. Before the installs, I was afraid it was going to be too loud but I'm actually pretty happy with how the car sounds now. The testpipes make the exhaust note sound deeper and louder but not extremely loud. Definitely has an exotic note to it, IMO. Wasted a lot of gas revving it this afternoon, haha.

Overall pretty satisfied with this mod!

I know the RPI axle back drones with the stock mid section. In comparison how is the drone before and after the test pipe install?

I think there is minimal drone on the RPI GT exhaust. On a cold start.. there is drone around the 1.5-2K RPM range but once it warms up, it's really not that bad. With the testpipe, it's definitely louder, deeper and sounds a bit exotic but it's not drastically different by any means though. The exhaust note is much more sexier now when I punch it.

Hey Buddy! Glad you're enjoying the test pipes I'm so sad driving around with the stock exhaust/tune now. The car is SO quiet! But cold start is SO loud haha I forgot how loud it was before the tune deleted it.

The good news is that I get to hear pretty much only intake noise now that the exhaust is so quiet again and I'll never get tired of that noise

Only a couple of months until your F80 arrives! I'm sure it'll be worth the wait

Realized the anthracite was looking a little too dark so I threw on a few layers of silver metalizer dip to give my wheels some contrast. Finished it off with some glossifier. Pretty happy with the end result! It looks hyper silver/titanium now.

Thanks! I used anthracite as the base, silver metalizer to lighten it up a bit and also to give it more of a "pop". And I topped it off with glossifier.

Swapped out the stock halogen bulbs for Nokya 2500K bulbs today. Will need to get these coded for higher power output.

What shop/mechanic do you use? looks like a shop i use to go to in Morris Park in the BX

I use a shop in BK for all my work. Let me know if you need a recommendation. My mechanic is super honest.

So this morning I went to pick up something

Picked these 20" Vossen CV7s in matte anthracite from my buddy this morning. Tried my 15mm spacers and it made the rear wheels super flushed against the fender but it rubbed slightly so I had to take them off.

Hoping to try 12mm or 10mm spacers to get the rear flush along with maybe 5mm spacers for the front.
