I think come spring time there should be a decent amount of interest in local meets. I think this calls for a thread, assuming one is not in existence.

Okay...somebody talk me out of this. Or justify my reasoning...
I'm considering selling her. I know I know instant regret pending right? The only reason I am contemplating this is simply gas mileage combined with my commute (70 miles a day) and an upcoming move. I am seeing my mileage skyrocket and my bills for gas are showing a similar trend, currently at around $425-$450 per month @ $4.00 per gallon. I know you dont buy this car for the MPG obviously so shortly after purchase i picked up a 98 TJ wrangler 2.5L 4cyl which i am managing to squeeze 20MPG out of, amazingly! Great in the snow and the M3 doesnt have to face the elements. Here lies the problem; I am making a move to a townhouse with 1 reserved parking spot! and my commute will not be much better. I have been contemplating making the switch to a 335xi for the fuel economy, awd, and saving myself storage fees for the M3 if i were to keep it. okay flame suit on..go |

Calculate your loss on the car if selling.
Take that amount and buy a real piece of shit beater that you can park on the sidewalk like an old ass camry/civic/american heap of junk that gets 30 mpg. Thats what i plan to do when i move next year. |

Don't do it! Seriously, if you want to consolidate to one car that can serve as a commuter car and be more fuel efficient while still delivering good performance, it's hard to argue with that.

I'd keep the M and Wrangler. It's always the cheapest approach to stick with what you've already purchased.
Ideally you'll also focus on living closer to where you work, even if it means changing jobs, and reducing your commute, which is a terrible waste of time and money. |

Bridgeport. I split my work week between Trumbull and Stamford and get to work at home once in a while.
I feel your pain with the gas mileage but don't you sell that ///M! Heck, I can't wait to buy one (maybe next year if the wife approves) and will keep the 328 as a DD. |
