I think -2.5 on the Hankook RS3s are tad too much but its close. I'd recommend about -2.3 to -2.4 on street tires.

I too will try some NT01s this weekend. I will report back as well.

At stock height it's tough to get more camber. Dropping the car 1" will gain about -1 of camber. My 1M is dropped 1" and I am at -2 using the OE upper mounts. Great for aggressive street!

update. camber plates only has netted me about 1.5 second at the track. some of this time may be due to driver upgrade as well.

I did the camber plates to preserve my tires, wouldn't expect much improvement in times. What you might find is the rear becomes more unstable under hard braking and aggressive throttle.

Maybe its all me then. More aggressive alignment has to allow for more corner speed? I hope it saves tires also. Noticed the instability particularly in the wet.

Because of higher than expected demand all E8x/E9x camber plates are on back order until Feb. 18th.

A little...they do save your tires. But you now have more grip up front which then, at least its my theory, uncovers the soft rear dampers which were never a problem since you had to frequently deal with understeer.

my car with a square set up is fairly neutral with a slight tendency to still understeer as opposed to oversteer on longer arcs. feels decent to me just need more grip at both ends.

Asked about this in the other thread...

So if I go with swift springs, I just need to order the OE version

Then if I go AST coilovers in the future, do I use the KW coilover perch?

For Swift Spec-R you will need the OE version. For AST in the future, you will need the AST upper perches, which can be purchased for $75.

I was not able to have alignment done, but will do so this weekend or early next week. The ride quality with plates installed is the same as stock, but with a tighter steering feel due to precision of the Vorshlag plates. I did not notice any noise when going over bumps and I am really impressed with the ride so far. I did notice a slight ride height increase of approx 6-8 mm with the plates installed. Since the plate is installed entirely below strut tower, the EDC plug and cap fitment is not affected. I will also post track impressions next weekend following the TWS DE. I wil be running R-S3's 275 square with -2.5F/-2.0R and 10mm spacer on rear.
I know this post is a little old, but I just had these plates installed in my car....and I'm wondering how you get the edc cap to fit when you adjust the camber to max negative setting?????
