When I did my Lux V3, one set went in easily, but the other side took me about 20 minutes...

Thanks for the advice! Didn't realize that turner was that close - how far away would you say, about an hour? Maybe I'll make the drive up...

On the M3 they don't, although on a few cold ass winter nights I wish they had them. The only negative of a thick steering wheel is that it takes forever to warm up when it's in the single digits outside...

Huh? In a heated garage the temperature is 60- 70 degrees. My steering wheel is just as normal in the Summer as the Winter.

Got some bad news today guys. I had been all summer having higher than normal engine temps. With the car being supercharged and a few weeks of intense humidity didnt think much of it.
The last few days been hearing a weird rattling sound in the engine near the oil cap. We think it could be a few things. None very good. Vanos system is going, possible valve spring or rod bearing. The third the least of the two in my opinion based on the sound and location. Who knows maybe water pump or engine is just getting noisy. Car drives fine. No delay, no bucking or stalling. Actually feels more responsive but could be becuase of the great temps we are having. Needless to say, both my Ms are out of commission with my x5m that I did not even own for a week getting rear ended on MA pike at 50mph.. Sad sad day for my little M family.. Loaner it is for a few weeks...hopefully I should have the x5 in a week or two at most as its been a month being in the shop. |

Were you in Kendall Sq on Thursday night? I saw a Space Gray E90 drive by Mead Hall.

Who here has an older e90 with the active blower, forgeline wheels, akraprovic and turner sticker on the windshield?
Saw your M at the Norwell dealer today. Mine is the Jerez e90 with yellow brembos, BBS wheels. Like the ride and curious what the oil cooler inside the radiator is. Heard you have high oil temps as well. Got the ESS 600 kit and oil temps have been really high as well. |

No that was an alpine whit e90. Knew the Guy who owned it. A lot of money put into that car and it completely lost its identity of being an M.
That car had a window like the ZR1 in he hood I show off the blower. The guy that did that work is really talented. Shop is called Competition Specialties. Their paint work is incredible. State trooper friend of mine told me some crazy stories about the alpine white owner. |
