165MPH indicated on the A63. I have no idea what the true speed was but no one else in car had any idea we were going that fast.

Well it is a little complicated:

Mph = kmh / 1.6

his car is US spec. it has 170mph right on the digital display and the speedo. outer ring is mph, inner is kph.

there is a speedo error so its not actually 170mph. more like 161ish but still its not crawling.

I was watching Spain's GP (Formula One) this past weekend and the fastest of them didn't make it to 324Km/h..They were 312-318 by the end of the straight (7th gear at 17,900RPM plus KERS plus DRS) How does this make you feel?
I remember you're shaky video to prove it too; you better get a link to it and stick it in your post before you get the unbelievers.
Nice to hear back from you..and please don't keep rubbing it in my face that you could drive your M3 this fast in Egypt as long as you have $20 cash in your pocket

It's the best and scariest feeling ever, but I felt I was committing suicide afterwards, if anything goes wrong you are history. Maybe if you are planning to visit Egypt soon you'll get your car with you and enjoy it to the max with no cops bothering you

Some people actually pay attention in class and do their home work, so at some point they dont have to use a calculator.

Besides all the people who will say it's unsafe blah blah, the NJ Turnpike is probably the safest "public" road to do it on. Straights for many miles with no exits/onramps in between.

my speedo is way off - when i drive through radar "check your speed" i'm indicating 5 mph faster than reading at 65mph. Thats a big discrepancy at 155.

Unless it's a flat 5 MPH over instead of a percentage. I was ALWAYS 3 MPH under indicated on those things. At 35 indicated I was doing 32. At 75 indicated it was 72 on the sign.
