I'll be at bimmerstock so i'll see you there buddy. You like Whiskey?

its cool to drive fast M33 but i don't go past 130 in Mexico(public roads). I don't like to street race much because i value my license too much. I had 2 friends get killed because some guy couldn't take a loss.
M33 and IMG has never had a 650 setup at all, they have never had the pulley and beltdrive system which generates the extra hp. Before the 650 was released we had a few 625 guys test the new 650 software and give feedback on driveability and function as it has completely different fuel programming than the 625 setup and I wanted to quickly get some miles on this version in several climates. The 650 software does not make more power, it just allows more power to be made with more boost.

I understand everyone wants to live by my boy Dom's rule. That is, "Ask any racer. Any real racer. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning."

With that in mind, how about we stick to the thread topic of "IMG,M33 & 2011C6 Z06 having some fun." Let's see some more vidz taken on the streets of Mexico.

P.S. Last I checked Westlaw, and out community rules, no law or rule prohibiting from posting, for entertainment purposes, video's of driver's going ballz out on a public, or private road [period]. Now, if your ballz out causes a crash or something akin, you fuuuuuked cause it may be used against you: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_1...82-504083.html. Be smart! Be safe! No, don't use a condom, use the blur feature. LOL

LOL You said go and we both went at the same time as you see in the video! If I left early I would have stopped like we did a bunch of times...

The Z06 heat soaks like a mutha after a couple of those runs. A cool down is required. What do you want its a big motor working hard, and it's bone stock with barely 500 miles on the odometer in these runs!!

When the car is running on high temps you don't get the totality of it's power. It aint rocket science.

But regardless of temps, the ESS M3s catch up at the top of 4th gear. 5th and 6th for those who don't know in the Z06 is overdrive. That how they get 27 mpg, and avoid gas guzzler tax! But it hurts acceleration. Most of the Mexico runs you'll see, most Z06s will let off in 4th.

We'll run again to demonstrate the outcome from better, less disputable angles. Keep up the good work!

The Z06 starts pulling timing at 86 degrees of IAT and 212 degrees of water temp. To offset these problems most are running 160 Tsat, killer bee intakes and tunes.
great races anyway.

Yup! I'd like to see what she car really do at the strip and 60 to 130 once she has some miles on her before bolting stuff on.

So you drive a 335i and have a Z06. I run around in a 135i and have the Z. Great minds...
