Legendary? I don't know...but looks like it could be slightly brighter.

There are a lot of red car pics too, but not many are interested as far as I can tell.

Have you decided between sunroof or CF? I know you were wanting both. If CF, will that affect/influence your color choice?
White indeed sets off against the CF brilliantly. As much as I generally hate white cars this look pretty darn good. I am shocked also by how unpoular grey is in the polls, probably the most common colors for BMWs and MBs here in So. Cal. (probably in US as well).

I'm pretty torn about the CF roof. The purist in me says go with the performance option but since I'd never sacrifice performance enough to go with a vert I'd love to have the sunroof. I think I am leaning toward CF roof. Thanks for asking and keeping this sub-conversation going. How about you going to paint your CF roof up?

No, I will leave it as it comes but it does make the exterior color choice a little more interesting if you consider the contrast of the roof. I'm definitely going to wait a year or two in and see what else becomes available, perhaps individual even. I really want a bright red, brighter than Melbourne, for more contrast with the top (plus I just love the color). I hate to compromise on something that is so important to me such as color, so I will wait patiently. Plus I want to see every option that I would consider in person so I can make the right choice there. Heck, I wouldn't even mind a drive in the 'other' gearbox just to make sure.

From my observations white has not been popular at all on M3s thus far.
I don't know how much that has to do with it. There were quite a few pics and vids in red and it isn't getting much love. I'm a Sparkling graphite fan myself, but the car just looks awesome in white. Especially with the CF roof. Has nothing to do with marketing.

Hey guys, I wonder why the BMW won't provide the Phonix Yellow for the next E92 M3? It is an awesome color! Laguna Blue is nice too!!

I think..... White is the new Silver. Getting more popular on many cars.

I still love Silverstone, and if BMW offers some sort of Silverstone leather interior that contrasts with black seatbacks, black carpeting, and black door panels, that will seal the deal for me!

Ok, well I hope they offer Laguna Seca Blue then. That would look great on the new one.

matching top looks amazing. odd though.. it has no sunroof... but has the black carbon fiber shark fin. i wonder if this means that you can get a normal roof without a sun/moon roof.

Scott said, that's a blue film disguising the CF roof. You can also see that the roof is not exactly the same colour like the rest of the car.
