What is you register!! I am a retard. I was just curious because I am in Afghanistan and puchased an M3 (order hasnt been sent to BMW yet). I was wondering if I could register and use the 1k toward the purchase. I would assume not, because we already pay less than the dealer does for the car.

hu, I've already attended the event in NYC and got my $1k gift voucher, but I keep getting these e-mails from different dealerships, so I just forward those invites here, so that someone that didn't get it and withing driving distance could attend?

I could not figure out why am I on so many BMW dealers' lists, but finally understood,- it is all from e-mailing my personal info in request to BMWUSA CPO, when I was shopping around in the CPO section of bmwusa.com... and now I'm getting a bunch of invites every week,- I'm on every BMW dealers' mailing list... oh well

Thanks!!! I was wondering the same thing bc they said its about 3 days but it didn't happen. Ultimate Driving Event was Monday the 24th.

I just learned from bimmerfest that the $1000 allowance will be given in the form of a rebate, after you lease/purchase the eligible BMW vehicle before 09/30/10.

the car needs to be leased/purchased and DELIVERED by 9/30/10. The $1000 can be taken as a COD credit or cap cost reduction.

CA asked me to e-mail him the $1k BMW gift... I tried to e-mail, but none worked, for some reason was not going through. I think, maybe BMW put a stop on forwarding/copy/e-mail this "gift e-mail" that you have. So, eventually I had to print a copy of my gift e-mail, and simply fax it to him. I used the certificate for Cap Cost Reduction on 36 months lease... it reflected on monthly payment as $20 less per month... which means 18 pack Heineken in my fridge every month, basicly free?

I apply the $1000 rebate to my 2011 X6 lease, but my dealer told me to wait 3-4 weeks for the check.
Does anyone else have to wait that long too?

What check are they talking about?

When I presented dealer with my $1k gift,- they simply took $1k off total price of car. It worked for me

My dealer have to submit the redemption code to BMW NA to get that $1000 rebate. First they told me it only take few days, now I have to wait 3 more weeks for it.
