I know allot of performance cars that don't have any of these problems and are faster than the M3 and most even cost less. The Zr1 LS9 engine which is ,from my understanding, a heavily modified LS3 engine found in the base model Vette are both bullet proof with minimal to no issues . Plus even the base models with the LS3, like the Z51 or Grandsport are faster in the quarter and on the track than the M3 for less money too.
