I have a ESS Tuning quad resonated xpipe for sale if anybody is interested. It is a proven performer, especially with a supercharged engine. Please PM with any questions.

I've been using stock software. I just pulled the trigger on the ESS Tune, but for performance (not to suppress a CEL).

That is awesome. I'll get their software as well. I run it on my E46M and love it

So there is finally an Xpipe that doesn't give a CEL!

I just installed the ESS HFC crossover pipe. Catback section is all stock. It sounds amazing and I can clearly feel the power. It's not a lot of HP gains, but I'd say it's in the 10-15HP range, just from the perspective that I'm able to feel it. No CEL light. I'm going to add the ESS tune in about a week.

One thing that bothers me is that the ESS pipe is not supported in the middle by the stock brace plate. Is this OK? Is there support enough from the hanger just after the cats and the hangers on the connecting pipes?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but seemed better than starting a new one.

This full exhaust sounds absolutely amazing!!

Curious how many others have run the full system w/HFC, stock tune and no CEL?

I still have some time on my factory warranty and considering extending, so I am not ready to tune. Should I stick with the slip on axle-back for now to be safe, or are these HFC consistently performing with no CEL?

Thanks guys!!

I'm now running the ESS Tune, but I did that for the improved performance, elimination of cold start, etc. I never got a CEL from the full HFC exhaust (even after running the system for well over 20k miles without a tune).
