2011 E90 M3 or 2012 C63 AMG

hi everyone

before anyone says "not one of these threads again" please hear me out and advise. i own a e90 and one my buddies over the weekend offered to buy it from me. Now i love the car but my head started spinning when i started thinking about the new gen C63. the entire interior has been facelifted ( i think beautifully, and the fronth end now looks like an SL) most importantly i heard they putting a 5.5 supercharged motor in it. Now thats gonna be around 350KW and 650NM torque. now with that kind of power the M3 will be no match. I think the M3 needs a very good driver to unlock its full potential where as with new C63 it would be easier to "drive it faster" if you know what i mean. What are you guys thoughts. I also dont want to make a mistake to sell knowing its the last 4 door normal aspirated. but i tell you the 63 really sounds tempting.

Drive the C63 before you sell. I drove it first before I drove the M3 and I thought the M3 felt lighter and tighter. Love the C63 motor and rumble though I loved the M3 V8 a bit more, not in terms of power but an 8400rpm V8 is pretty rare.

i think you got to wait a bit longer for the supercharged 5.5L. the 2012 will still have the V8.

Yea the C63 is keeping the same 6.2L engine.. E63 and above get the 5.5 twin turbo

Although I know the M3 is a better car in numerous aspects, I would walk past it in a heartbeat for the C63 AMG. The noise the AMG makes could erupt Yellowstone and is simply unrivaled! I just love the oversteery, sideways lunacy the AMG offers and the straight line speed will leave the dignified M3 in a cloud of smoke!
I even hate the C-Class and love the 3 Series to bits! The C63 AMG is that good.

It does if you turn Traction Control and ESP off and depress your right firmly!

I have a C63 and I love it. I will be giving it up in a month to get an E92. I liked both cars when I chose the C63 three years ago. It will be nice to have had both. If I were in your shoes I'd make the switch and enjoy.

The C63 is stupid and overpowered. Thats why I love it and why it sells!! The C63 Black will be a monster with mustard up its arse thats on fire and has several rockets strapped to it and feeds upon the tobasco soaked flesh of young children. On fire. With Napalm under the bonnet. Or "hood" if your American at home
