I might be planning on upgrading my idrive from 08 idrive to 2011 idrive, what is the difference in the video boxes? can I just buy the cables from you or do I need to rebuy the whole video box and pnp wires from you? thanks again! and bump for a kickass product!

sorry ... you would need a new module and a new harness, cables ... camera can stay ...

let me know and I will be able to help you to get the right parts.

You can definitely install it on your own. No need for programing.

It can be installed pretty much anywhere you want in your car ... common places are glove-box or right below it ...
