Paddles or rachet shifter?

Just curious. Which to you use? I find myself using the rachet shifter. Seems more natural and less complicated to me.

As I just picked her up last Thursday I am still experimenting with both. I do like the Ratchet shifter (feels more normal and less video game like) but the paddles are fun as well. Once break in is through I will be able to really test each out and I suspect at more agressive speeds the paddles are way cool as long as as you remember right for up left for down

Same as above for me

Still in break in period so have not really seen a difference, but I find it more natural to use the Floor shifter

Both....lol. I use both about the same.

Ratchet around town, paddles when I am closer to the limit.

I like the paddle shifters but I don't really like the way they feel when I shift. It feels cool but I dislike the snap sound they make.

Pedals 90% of the time. I use rachet almost mostly when I'm turning right/left from a stop sign/red light since I want to shift to 2nd gear while turning. That is the only time I shift while turning...

I use the paddles in a straight line and the shifter when the wheel is rotated.

I use the paddles only. If there were a small stalk on the wheel to switch between neutral, reverse, and drive, I'd happily give up the stick entirely in exchange for a storage space or something else useful.

+1. I love how in some cars (like aston) they have P N D R buttons on the dash instead of having a stalk. Looks better IMO. I also love how all the controls are on the steering wheel in F458. But then I love evertyhing (except price) about F458.

I use both. I wish the paddles were mounted on the steering column instead of the wheel. Useful when downshifting on a tight turn, that's when I use the shifter.
