It sure does. Gran Turismo always bragged about graphics but I'm thinking Forza is headed in the right direction. I might have to buy a 360 now... this is what GT5 was supposed to be

I can't even begin to imagine how the next generation of racing games will look...

GT5 looked great in photos too you know. Gameplay can always be different than still photos.

That wasn't the best example lol. In GT5 it really depends on how good the photographer is. There are some seriously good shots on teh interwebz, like...

If Forza 4 has a photomode as good as GT5's, I'm 100% sold.

Something you gotta consider with that photo GregtheStig posted, that image was touched up a bit with Photoshop. You can get cool shots like that in Forza 3 if you do some editing in Photoshop too.

I was trying to make a point with that, but you're right. The level of detail isn't shopped though

I remember seeing FM3 screenshots 2 years ago (time flies by so quickly) and thinking that it was great but in reality, it was nowhere as good during gameplay. I'll buy it though.

IMO Forza 3 looked way better in the preview screenshots, but when the game actually came out it didn't look near as good.

Any game that uses pre-rendered shots is going to look eons better than its gameplay. We're still a way off from getting in-game quality like that.
