This. How about a power bump / swan song edition before it no longer is in production. Matte was so last year.

Not a big fan of the matte colors. Looks like the car was crashed, primed, then spray painted. More interested in knowing what's going on for MY2012, which is just around the corner (SOP 9/11)...

This scares me a little, because I'm now wondering if them releasing the edition car now with only a few months left in MY2011 is an indication that the emission changes for MY2012 are resulting in some negative outcomes?

It also has black Competition wheels. This picture is wrong. It also has a jazzy little black box that holds your keys for display. I guess it's just new to the USA.
Are you sure it's frozen black and not the frozen gray M3 when BMW announced it a while back? Don't know if it's still there but the BMW dealership in Oakville had a matte M3 and I'd assume it's just a regular M3 with just the matte paint and not a special edition with packages.

This is so stupid, every M should come with contrast stitching.... It's ridiculous that it's considered a premium and special addition on a $60k+ car.

Wonder how Fox Red would look with black contrast stitching? Probably tacky.
