What happened to the original story line, at the end of 3 when you finish on Legendary it rotates back into Halo1 with him in the cryo tube. Which is why it has been said since 07 they wouldnt release another one. ODST is another story line

Ok, so I haven't read any of the books, but I think I have the plot of the video games nailed down... spoilers incoming

Halo: Reach > Halo: Combat Evolved > Halo 2 > ODST > Halo 3

Halo: Reach - "ends" with you handing Cortana off to Keyes aboard the Pillar of Autumn. You can see Master Chief all cryosleeped up. Halo: Combat Evolved begins with you waking up and learning how to use your brand new original xbox controller. yay!.

Eventually, Halo 3 ends with you drifting in space aboard half of the Forward Into Dawn. You go back in to cryosleep, and tell Cortana to wake you when you're needed.

Halo 4 = you're needed.

So, different ships, different cryosleeps If you finish on Legendary, it just shows the ship floating towards another planet.

They are totally different games and BF3 is a PC game

I don't know the specifics but I do know MC wakes up out of the cryo tube in 1, which is what I read was the reason 3 ended like that because the series was done. He looked like he died on regular, but didn't when playing Legendary.

I play COD a lot and enjoy it for its own way to playing, ill get BF3 for 360, but Halo rules all.

There has been no footage yet of what BF3 will look like on the console, everything shown so far was from the PC. Battlefield 3 will be a much better experience on the PC, which they have already stated.

Yes, well not all games, but BF3 will be. 64 players on the PC vs the 24 players on the consoles is a start of that. Flying jets and Heli's will also be much better on the PC. The maps will be much bigger and the overall graphics will be better on the PC.

Well ofc its going to be "better" but that does not mean it wont be good on Xbox/Ps3

I never said it would be bad on the consoles :P The full experience will be on the PC, but it is still going to own on all systems

Idk about you guys, but I'm going to preorder Halo Anniversary and play it on OG Xbox mode all day long. I never thought I'd say this but I may play this more than Battlefield... and I've been hyping that game/bashing COD for months now.
