The Official 818 Meet Thread

Sunday May 22nd, 2:30pm. Location: Topanga Promenade North East Lot (Erwin & Owensmouth by Macy's)

Meet here at 2:30pm, then we can go on a canyon drive at 3pm or so.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse (Woodland Hills)

Alright people it's canyon driving time! We'll be meeting up and the heading out for some canyon cruising, and after wards we'll be hitting up Moonshadows in Malibu for some food/drinks!

PLEASE DRIVE RESPONSIBLY! The canyons have CHP patrols and not to mention there are many tight turns, so please be careful! We all want to have fun and we don't want to see anyone get a ticket or damage their vehicle. So please be smart!

I like the idea...I'm just not sure if I can handle BBQ for a while...this past weekend I BBQ'd on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

True...I am a bit of an "area-ist" in that I usually won't drive far unless it's for the beach hahaha

Random Idea for future meet-up locations, if any of our fellow forum members own restaurants or cafes in the 818 or surrounding area, we could meet up there and support their business...In the struggling economy, it would be cool to meet-up and help-out....no?

a bi-weekly, or monthly meet would be nice if it was in the same location rather than moving around to different places each time....

perhaps a mall or something with a few different food places so you don't get too bored with the same food every other week or monthly...

maybe somewhere off the 101, between sherman oaks and woodland hills....perhaps...

I think what they do now (meet at the mall) and then drive to a place works out

I met up with them but didnt have time to dinner, so it was nice to just chill for a bit

We have a "usual" meeting spot in Woodland Hills where we meet up. We usually chill for 30 min or so before we roll out for driving and dinner.

I'll be setting up details for this week tonight.
