Can anyone tell me if this is normal when the software is upgraded or flashed in general?
Certainly odd on the mileage, but what caught my eye was the fact that you got new pads (must be lots of track days(. I have 14k on my 08 and the service feature on the idrive says I have something like 29k remaining. Did they replace rotors as well?

New pads at 13,638 miles? Did they changed the discs?

Meh, that's nothing. Once, I dropped off my M3 for service and I got an M6 back...weird, but true. They mistakenly pulled the wrong car around. I told them I was okay with it, but the crappy service guy wouldn't go along with it.

Thanks guys! Very helpful!

In regards to the brake question, lol I check the service thing in my idrive and it said that the front pads needed to be serviced. The rotors weren't changed though.

The same thing happened to me. I picked up my car today with 7908 miles, though I dropped it off with 7909. I intentionally checked the odometer before I handed over the keys because of this post. Who knows why, but I'm pretty certain they didn't roll back the odometer.... or take it up to 88mph in the Twin Pines Mall parking lot.
