To be honest, I'm not sure. I'll have to ask Fred or dl the manual. On another note, the Rennaissance 8s are only 2.7" deep. I wonder if I can squeeze them in. Hmmmm...

I'll get you the info about the 4s ASAP.

2.7" sounds similar to the Rainbows that VP was going to try in his car but said significant mods would be needed to fit it in plus it might still hit the carpet.

Dammit. They're sexy as hell too. Maybe I'll have to run the Space 8s.

Here's what I found for the Renaissance drivers. Well, technically it's for the Morels but they should mount the same. Renaissance doesn't have a manual on their site.

Picture of the a/d/s installed on the door panel. I removed the front grill just to see if the driver was centered in the cutout and it was. I forgot to take a picture of that though.

Are any of these still available? I need about 8 for my E61 speaker upgrade... Can't PM yet, just joined. Thanks.

Isn't it bad etiquette to try to sell your stuff in someone else's for sale thread?

If so how much and will you post to Portugal?

Thanks a lot

I have no problem with that. I've never denied the fact that VP provides rings to those that buy speakers from him and I've advised customers who were thinking about getting speakers from him to go that way. Not trying to pull business away from anybody else here. My solution gives other people who maybe already have speakers, want speakers other than the ones VP sells or chooses not to buy speakers from VP a simple way of installing them.

I purchased my Morels before VP became a vendor. I am trying to put Dotech Ovations in the rear quarter panel of my coupe. The woofer snaps into Billys adapter rings perfectly. The tweeter is another story. I had to hog out the housing with a dremel, and it still does not fit, I'll put a couple strips of fatmat to keep the tweeter from falling out. Now.....where to stick the crossover is another dilemma. Thanks again Billy
