Love yellow. The yellow/beige sounds weird at first but I'm warming up to it. Now silverstone on bamboo? That's still ridiculous to me.

No, I did not go for individual interior, you have to run out of money somewhere. Bamboo beige non-extended leather E90 with ZCP, DCT, etc.

I expect photos of this once you take delivery of it!!!! I toyed with Dakar for my 2nd Individual E90 M3 but shied away because I was not sure what would go good for an interior color (besides black which I did not want).

Let me set the record straight on a few things -

Speed Yellow is in fact a BMW color AS WELL as a porsche color. BMW's speed yellow is a deeper , more traditional sports car yellow, as compared to dakar which touches more on a lighter canary-ish yellow.
Atacama Yellow is NOT the same as speed yellow. I've seen Atacama in person at the Welt, and in fact Atacama looks more like an orange than it does a yellow.
There are NO Atacama M3's , e90 or e92, known to any of us on these boards. If you do in fact have an Atacama M3 on order, yours will be the first in the states to my knowledge.
And no. Atacama is not better than Dakar. Haha.

I saw Atacama Yellow at Welt as well on a Z4. I found it to be quite striking. Yes it has more orange but it is still yellow. More like School Bus Yellow

I want to see photos of this Atacama Yellow E90!! I toyed with doing a Dakar sedan and just couldn't bring myself to do it.

1. Car has started production and is scheduled to be done on 04/28. Then hopefully it gets on a ship FAST.
2. I think Black would look better yes, but we live in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The temps creep up into the 120's during the summer and no matter what BMW says about their leather ... when it's 120 anything that is black is hot!
3. I don't think the Bamboo will look to bad, but then again it's not my car it's my dads so whatever floats his boat.
4. I hope I can convince him to get some black wheels because that would really tip the care off.
5. As soon as we pick it up, I assure you I will post pictures!
