Matte or Black Chrome Grills for Space Gray M3?

Okay...I've seen the Black Chrome, and they are super shiny...can't tell if they look too shiny to me or not. What about Matte Black?? Will it look odd when the trim around the doors and mirrors is gloss black?

Thoughts...suggestions??? Matte Black or Black Chrome for a Space Gray M3? I'd be doing both the front and sides, and I can't make up my mind.

Anyone who has a recommendation and some pics would be greatly appreciated.

Whatever you choose the front grilles should match the side gills. I prefer Black Chrome or Gloss/Satin Black surrounds on Space Grey. The M3 Edition grilles/gills look the best IMHO.

I went with the M3 edition grilles up front and the painted side gills. Given the black mesh background of the side gills on the E90, the space grey side gills looked best to me... On the E92 with the painted interior portion of the side gill, I'd agree with Rated ///M3 and go with the M3 edition on both the front grilles and side gills.

You've been pretty quiet since taking delivery, how's the car treating you?

Agreed! I'll be going the same route on my MW E92!

Anyone know what the M3 GTS has on it? I would think its the black chrome grills, but the pictures I've seen suggest that it is not a shiny as the black chrome. Thoughts?

I have a space gray E90 with gloss black (not the edition chrome black) on the front, side, and hood vents. It looks great compared with the shadowline trim and window pillars, since their gloss black as well. The only thing that doesn't really match very well is the lower grill. I was thinking about removing the front bumper, popping the grill out and painting it gloss black. PM me with your email address if you want pics. I don't want to have to resize them to post them here.

I've got edition black chrome front and sides on space grey and think it looks great. Might depend on if you plan to do other cosmetic mods? Matte black wheels etc?
