Eek, also happening with 1 passenger, at least with EDC on comfort. Considering going down a size or two...

How bad is the occasional rub for the tires/car? It's not a pleasant noise...

Occassional should be fine, as the POC should be on the rear fenderwell where it meets the rear bumper.

It's always best to inspect the wheelwells to be 100% sure

eas,

Does having an aftermarket suspension change the spacer recommendation?

I ask because I see that for a ZCP car you recommend the 10mm/15mm r/f setup, but on page 7 of this thread you have photos of a Lemans Blue ZCP E90 with Eibach Pro Springs setup with 12mm/15mm?

Thanks.

It can play a part - depending on ride height/stiffness as well as driving habits.

Very nice reference thread, though I have to say that last time I checked here the pictures were great, but now they are all gone(It now says: Domain Unregistered. To view, register at bit.ly/imageshack-domain)

Could you perhaps try to fix the problem?

Pic request!
Please post some pictures of 220M wheels and 10mm spacer in the back, and 5mm setup for the same track, thank you in advance.

Strange, the pictures seem to be working on all of our computers here. Anyone else experiencing this?

There are maybe a couple of cars in this thread that have a 10mm in the rear, but I don't know if anyone has done a 5mm on 220Ms.

A lot of people have gone with the 15/12 setup for the ZCPs and have been happy with it, but we do recommend that you measure your clearance before ordering spacers as there are many variables that affects spacer sizes.

Sales questions cannot be discussed in this thread as per agreement to forum rules, this needs to remain a technical thread.

12/15mm is the recommended combo for M3s with ZCP suspension/stock tires.

Yes, 15mm in the front and 12mm in the rear. With the lower suspension and wider ZCP wheels, this is the widest set-up we would recommend if you are concerned about rubbing.

Would 15/15 with Eibach Springs work with zero rubbing or hassle?

And can i ask why is 15/12 a popular setup? and not 15/15 or 12/12? Wouldn't you want to keep the car's same proportions? or am i missing something?

12/15mm is the most popular setup.

15/18mm is a bit more aggressive and will put the wheels completely flush with the fenders.

Why do you put front ones larger and not keep the same M3 proportions?
