Silver Window Trim on the vert??

I ordered the vert and should be here in 2 weeks or less. Although it doesn't matter at this point. Do all the vehicles come with that silver trim along the windows or do they vary between silver and black. I don't know whether it will come in silver trim like the 335 did, I'm hoping that it doesn't.

If silver, I was told to order carbon fiber 3m tape and cover it that way. Any suggestions?

it will, only in europe is it black.. so dumb. just posted a thread like this as well. A lot of shops can vinyl it for you for cheap. there's a few diy's for the coupe but i'm interested to hear if any other e93 owners did it themselves, looking to do this soon.

Would be good to know. I may ask the shop that is going to do the tinting, and I can just purchase the carbon/vinyl.

How does the gloss black trim look with the mirror surround which is matte black on the verts? I can't really see where they meet in this picture.

^^ it actually flows very well IMO, I never really even thought about it but now that I look at it, I have no problems with the matte flowing with the gloss

I paid a guy to do it locally here in the Bay Area although I'm sure if you had some patience you'd be able to do it on your own.

And as persian said, if you have a lighter car such as white or maybe silverstone, the chrome trim doesn't look out of place but IMO chrome trim on a dark color like black looks awful!
