+1 Having this as an option would establish BMW Performance as the real deal.

It's very possible...I've been looking into it for my e60 as well. The parts you can find on the web (much cheaper than the dealer). If ur capable u can install urself and just have the dealer code it properly...total expenditure will still be at least $1500 to $2k...

Look on e60.net and there are full threads on it..
