Btw, you mentioned the X6 never caught your attention. Head to a BMW dealer one day and ask to test drive an X6 M. You'll probably want to trade your M3 in for one of those immediately. My dad has a SG X6 M and that car is unbelievably comfortable and smooth, handles great and is quite FAST!!!

Oh man Iam so jealous, the wait is BRUTAL as you mentioned, ordered mine on 4/6 and its still says on order on BMWUSA. Anyways thanks for posting your experience with all those amazing pictures of you new beauty. MAN is she gorgeous, the color just screams art. You and your wife look like you had an amazing time at the PCD. Enjoy your new baby in good health man.

Hey everyone!! I know I've bee MIA for a while! Life has been quite hectic this past month or so. However, I'm happy to report that the M is doing wonderful! I have about 1150 miles on her so just a few more to go! With God's grace, I haven't had any issues with her thus far (i.e. rattles, scary malfunctions, etc). She is a dream and the constant stares and compliments definitely attest to that.

Regarding the responses to my write-up: WOW. I'm speechless. I didn't expect such a wonderful response. I'm really glad that you all enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it (once I actually got going that is). I hope it helps bide the time for those that are going through the agonizing wait and it helps others that may be on the fence about doing Performance Center Delivery!
