can it really have as much dry grip as the ps2? seems to have way more tread line ect...they should make a tire more like an RE-11/ AD08...thats not an R-comound like the ps cups

Me too. My rears have just come up for replacement: 1 yr , 13k miles.

Wanted to see if the PS3's were out but can't find them at TireRack.

So am looking at:
  • Michelin PS2
  • Bridgestone RE-11
  • Conti ContiSport 3

This PS3 is not the replacement for the current PS2. This tire was designed as an original equipment tire. Some 2012 vehicles in the states will use this tire.

The new PS2 will not be available until late 2011 and will not be called the PS3.

Where did you get this info? So you're saying that there is going to be something in between the PS3s and the Sport Cups?

Tirerack has the PS3 up, but no real sizes yet.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....=Pilot+Sport+3

edit: check out the pricing, 255/35/19 is $399, so a set would be over $1600, ballsy.

Get the Conti's

I drove them at M School and they were excellent in the dry and wet.

We were driving in some cataclysmic rain for an hour or so. No issues

If it wears 50% longer, increase the price 50%! Simple.

I have been running the Bridgestone Re050a Pole position tires and they have been my favorite I have ever run. Highly recommend them.

So are these coming out to fit the staggered 19"s on the E90s?

I want to wait but need tires soon.
