Thats the problem with these old farts and their exotic's, only a handful know how to actually drive them on a track. They just buy them so they can pick up girls that are 20 yrs their junior and don't have a clue as to their true abilities... posers.

Saw you guys at the show on Sat with some Amazing Looking Cars! I was looking forward to running with a few more of them on track at Homestead on Sunday. I was dissapointed when only one showed up, what happened to you guys on Sunday? I hear ya, especially here in Miami. You see these 50-60 yr old guys in their 430's, 458's, Lambos, GT2 and 3's, etc.. putting around, shifting at 3k rpms and I'm thinking, That Poor Car!!! This guy actually knew how to drive his 458 pretty well, I just have a lot more on track time than him and in cornering and under braking, I gained huge margins on him utill he pointed me by

No Excuses, I'm 40 and I got home at 5:30am. Still was first at registration at 9am

+1, but at least these guys were at the track, most don't get out of the garage

I don't think they are picking up 20 yr olds due to their driving skills

It was Fun though. 3 cars there had carbon/ceramic brakes and the owners had ZERO idea how to use them correctly! I told the guy in the 458 that I'd take them up to temp so he could see how they are supposed to work, he had no interest. Fucking Sad!!!

Mike, BTW I think I've seen you in the AM heading to work by JCC ???

I depict you have some goodies in the car to chase some of these guys?

No Bud, $395 was the cost for you to go on track for that event .Yep,I live right by the JCC on 118 st and 104 ave. I do drive my car as it should be driven, with the X-Pipe with HFC and AA exhaust, it gets attention!

I would give these guys some slack.
How someone enjoys their car is a very personal experience.
Just because they can't extract 90% of the capabilities of their cars does not make them any less of an enthusiast. They may simply know their own limitations.
On the flip side, I see dumb asses abusing the crap out of their cars thinking they're on the set of 'Fast n Furious' all the time, and have no clue on how to drive either.
