"M vehicles are just getting too heavy!"

http://translogic.aolautos.com/2011/...lightest-bike/

Why can't BMW build something like this?

I'm holding out for the coupe, hoping that it will be lighter than the convertible.

Cheers.

Where do they put the IDrive screen?

Also, needs an M Button, heated power seats, and of course Fox Red Extended.

Don't forget to do PCD too.

BTW, I am definitely tracking mine. What's the point of buying an M and not taking it to the track?

I hear Lance Armstrong got a sub 8 minute ring time with this baby!

It still doesn't have as much useful torque as my 335i which will still "feel" faster around town.

Absolutely.

In fact, there's a non-M version of this bike using the same frame. It makes more torque, costs a lot less, and can be chipped to be just as fast as the M version for $1000.

It doesn't have an LSD though.

They need to come out with an M model for the S1000RR instead.
