+1

It would be so bad that the homicide detectives would have to get involved.

LFA.......... hmmm 400k for a car that on a good day only marginally beats the 100k GTR. I would change the name to LMFAO if I actually knew anyone who would spend that on a BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET automobile.

As far as sounds, I am partial to rumble of a Muscle car and the SLS has that perfected.

So? A 10k civic hatch back with another 10k in mods could come close to the performance of a M3 at four times less the cost. Does that mean you are going out and picking one up tomorrow? No.

The LFA is a true exotic and a technological work of art. It is produced with a different purpose in mind then the GTR. It is a concept of the all the advancements in technology today put to work in a single automobile (especially in Carbon Fiber). Technology that 5-10-20 years from now you will find in your everyday automobile.

The GTR however takes todays technology and uses it to take a 4000lb lumbering beast to turn it into a (relatively) nimble, physics-defying rocket.

I was of the same mindset as you until last weekend when I got to see the LF-A first hand at a Lexus event. The attention to detail on the LF-A is amazing. Sitting in the car I truly felt like I was in something special. I still wouldn't buy one over a 458, but I wouldn't fault someone else for picking the Lexus.

You are slightly correct on the LFA but way off on the GTR.
Like it or not, the GTR is amazing piece of advanced technology. Don't sell it short.

SLS is too far fetched a comparison. Maybe an SL63 AMG would be more matched for the M3....

Isn't the SLS 50% of the price of an LFA, I think you'd need to put a black series against an LFA to be fair.

I would choose an SLS over an LFA, I'd rather have a nice car than a ricer's wet dream (LFA) - I would also choose a GT-R over an LFA, because with a few grand a GT-R will CRUSH an LFA.

So any F1 type of supercars that's not from Europe are considered ricey now...? Ppl w/ $$$$ don't care about value at this price point. It's limited, that mean they must have it.
