My 323i's name is Navin, considering that the name means "New" and it was my first BMW that I bought brand new back in 2000.

If I wind up going with a melbourne red E92 M3 later this year, the name will be Rohini, named after my youngest daughter. The name means, "red" and is the constellation of stars I was born under in the Indian astrological system.

Navin

Haha! That's awesome! Yeah, I noticed it's not in your sig. It's still in mine considering it's the only BMW I own at the moment.

What color is your E92 M3? If you get a chance, check out my "semi-intro" thread I made earlier today in this subforum (I actually joined a couple of years ago but took a break from the forum until now).

If I recall correctly the 323i stock has 172 hp... when I was 16 I didn't even know what that meant... tried to race a Honda Accord V6 and he killed me! LOL, oh how the past 12 years has changed.

I admit to naming my cars as well. My 2008 M3 was called Sky (lemoned the car), and my current 2011.5 I named Marie.

170HP, though when I dynoed mine prior to my twin screw supercharger and 5spd manual tranny going in, it dynoed at around 150 something. I never dynoed it after the supercharger and tranny swap though... doesn't matter now since I'll be moving onto an M3 soon.

What color is your E92 M3?

these threads are always an interesting read. I was actually thinking about this the other day, and I'm laughing that I see a few people are already ahead of me. I've never named any of my cars, but I was thinking that if I were to name the M, I would name her Stella because I beat on her all the time ("Streetcar Named Desire").

My E46 M3 was named Milly. I haven't come up with a good one for the E92 yet. I find myself wanting to call it Milly too, but, as I've documented here at the forum, I find the two vehicles to be completely different, and so, they must have different names. I'm still getting to know the E92, so it might take some time.

Anyone else willing to admit they engage in similar behavior? I can't be the only one, can I?
Ha Ha. I forgot about naming my car. The e46 was Elsa. My two e90 M3s have had so little personality, that I never named them. If I did, I think they would be masculine instead of feminine. Claus?
