Great car, by the way!

JLevi, just sent you a PM. I'm interested in the idea. Please get back to me when you get a chance. And thanks for the kind words

I had one recommendation:

Perhaps a BMW performance brake set with yellow calipers?

However, your car truly is sexy. Dont change much. I love the current rims and such. Everything is just so clean.

I think you're onto something. You should make a website comparing Vorsteiner parts to farm animals. You could be the next billionaire.

Modification #12 - BMW Individual Piano Black Trim

Well....

...Late last week, the last of my Piano Black pieces arrived from BMW Individual in Germany. The short version of the story is that these pieces were supposed to be installed in Germany for me, but because that would have added to the car's build time, and because my tickets were non refundbale, BMW Individual decided to put carbon leather on my car, and ship my Piano Pieces directly to me.

Well I have to say, the wait was well worth it. The piano black pieces are extraordinary in both fit and finish. And the contrast in these pieces against the more matte, slightly lighter leather interior is stunning. The contrast truly sets the interior off and makes the whole thing come together beautifully.

Why don't I let the pictures do the talking for me

^ Very Nice trim. my favorite by far.

Are you worried about people touching it and finger prints?

not really. it's a car man. when it get's dirty... you clean it up. besides, eclipsis (who knows detailing supplies) recommended a high end wax from the chemical guys which is supposed to go a long way in preventing finger prints and smudging. I'll be picking that up soon...

Modification #13 - Macht Schnell Spacers (Increased rear from 12 to 15mm)

After spending a few weeks with the GTS wheels spaced at 15 front / 12 rear, I wasn't satisfied enough with the stance, in the rear particularly - there was room to make it look more aggressive and get it more flush with the the fender... so I decided to have EAS take off the 12's in the rear and replace them with 15's.

The final results are 15mm Macht Schnell (front) / 15mm Macht Schnell (rear). Very pleased with the results. Here are a few pics:

(please excuse the missing tow hook. had to send it to IND for a paint match on the vorsteiner bootlid, should have it back soon)

That's it
- esquire

p.s. EAS is selling the 12mm Macht Schnell spacers I had on the car, at a pretty heavy discount. They were only on the car for 3 weeks. Anyone who wants 12's can save themselves some cash.

Ugh you're car is just perfect. The piano black is so classy, easily the best looking trim BMW makes. Still can't wait to see it! Also, did you decide on the Euro bumper?
