Very nice!BMW should build it but then again BMW did not see a need for a 5 series wgn in North America either!

Wow! What a great build. Forget COTM, this car deserves to be "Car of the Year"

Probably, yeah. But who cares? Even without that stuff, it is still amazing. Plenty of people mod their cars (such as 335i) with much more power than an S65 and don't do that stuff either. So yeah, not quite as rigid as a factoryE91 M3 would be probably, but its not like the car is going to fall apart drving down the roads or twist in half from the power.

As much as I'm in agreement, I doubt the finance guys at BMW think a few forum responses dictate the R&D, retooling, and marketing to get this done.
Especially in the context of the 1M.

Beginning almost 2 years ago, speculation around a 1M was met with huge enthusiasm on this and other forums. Hundreds of affirmations of intent to purchase flooded the postings. Now that the car is actually out, many of those potential buyers quickly converted to complaining or abandoning their intention to buy (too expensive blah blah). They got exactly what they asked for an M car that outperforms the 135 at a price premium and underperforms the M3 at a price discount.

The 1M alone would instill doubt at the BMW executive level around the validity of demand on bimmerpost.com.

Nice work but what a waste of time. I just don't understand the obsession with wagons.

Amazing work! great attention to detail. But again, im sure the cost of doing this was more than actually buying an e9x M3. I myself dont like wagons, but this is cool.

I like the lines ...

I like the lines better than the e90 Sedan. It seems to flow better.

I don't think I would buy one, but I do appreciate the effort.

I would absolutely LOVE to see this custom E91 M3 tested against Audi-R and Mercedes AMG performance sport wagons via independent sources (..i.e..CAR, Automobile, etc.). It would offer insight on how a factory made E91 M3 might/would perform against the competition.
