A bit of an afterthought, but when Motor Trend raced the M3 against a Mustang GT, I believe the M3 had the competition pack as well. So it's worse with this option, which tends to invalidate that test.

I drove a Mustang GT with the Brembo brake package. It was fast, but the most awful riding car I have ever driven. If you drove over a pencil it would shake your teeth, that bad and I am not exaggerating.

Competition package doesnt make the car handle any worse on a track than an M3 without it.

Clarkson just commented that it has a harsh ride quality when set on sport mode. Not a big deal.

No doubt about that, Clarkson likes to exaggerate things. I wish they tested it in the dry though to see what the combo of DCT + ZCP would have done to lap time!

I had a pro BMW driver tell me at a BMW event this summer, that the biggest difference was DCT, not ZCP.

Did anyone notice that the regular M3's time of 1.25.3 is faster then the lamborghini spyder at 1.25.7

And I heard someone say that it was a E90

That's just crazy a 4 door saloon car with a V8 taking on a V10 Supercar....M3 is the best car handsdown I agree with JC
