E90 M3 with 18s - Any optional tire sizes?

Did some searching and only found threads talking about the 19s, but I imagine I'll get new tires in the next year. Are there any wider widths I can run without rubbing? I had 245/275s on my z4mc with no issue (stock is 215/245).

275 or 285 would be nice in the rear, but I doubt it fits since I couldnt find any search results.

Thanks,
Brian

I have 275/40-18's on my stock 18's on the rear, fits great, no rubbing. There are several people running 285/35-18's on stock rear wheels also. Fits fine. There is a lot of room on the rear of M3's, especially the sedans. 315/30-18 street tires aren't out of the question with the right width and offset. There's a whole forum for these kinds of questions, I'm sure this thread will be moved there soon.

255/40's should be fine on the front. You do need to look at the recommended rim width range for the tires you are planning to mount. An 8.5" rim is the narrowest wheel that's recommended for a 255/40 PS2 for example.

Looks like there aren't many choices in a 285/40. 275 is likely a better choice.
