Agreed. car looks amazing, however I dont think you need to stop now. Just keep everything tasteful and quiet as you have been doing and you got a winner. I like the idea of the Vorsteiner trunk and rd sport bumper, they both aren't very in your face, and seem subtle. To all non BMW enthusiasts i think it'll look oem and clean.

Car looks incredible, keep it up! Can't wait to see more!

That a yes?

At the risk of more lol's & possible flames, did a quick (poor) coloring.

To me, Dakar Yellow is a very striking and almost toy-like color (and, aren't M3's our toys, after all?). And, to play on that color and extend it to the ZCP/GTS wheels with same Dakar Yellow might look pretty darn good (or, pretty darn bad ).

hey man. truth is, i think you're right. it wouldn't look bad, but it would make the car look a bit more "toy"-ish. i think the black & yellow combo is more aggressive and that's what i'm going for. thanks for the thought and effort though.

Isn't it a pretty common thing for porsche 911's to get wheels painted body color? If done right the wheels in dakar yellow to match the body would look sick. However, getting the wheels painted in gts black just made the car look so much better than stock.

Car looks awesome as is. I would maybe go with a color matched front lip. I don't think the Vorsteiner trunk really "does it" for the E9X...unlike the E46 where it looked right on the M3s.

Definitely get rid of those orange reflectors!

Yeah, not sure why more ppl don't color-match the front lips for that more-integrated look

I believe that issue will be solved with a Euro Bumper which was referenced in the 1st thread.

Modification #11 - GP Thunder Cornering Bulb Replacement

Just a tiny modification here. These bulbs make it so that when the cornering light turns on, the bulb color is a crisp white (to match my Angel iBrights). Cheap mod, but i like that it keeps the car feeling consistent. Here is a 1/2 and 1/2 pic

Left - Angel iBrights with GP Thunder 7500k Cornering Bulbs.
Right - Angel iBrights with stock Cornering Bulb

Definitely noticeable, a very nice compliment to the AngeliBrights.

esquire,

The car is looking awesome, and great choice of color. I would like to add my 2 cents in here about my opinion. have you considered doing a Dakar yellow ring/time attack around the wheel? Very thin, not too thick, but also painting the part that touches the bead of the tire, So basically masking the inner circle only. Also, running a black outline around the rear taillights to simulate the "black lines" on the sedan taillights. Either or, the car is looking great and keep us updated

I love this yellow car

I'm just curious about something. I'm new to this post and now I read it everyday. I bought my 2011 e90 m3 in December and had some questions and this forum has been helpful and interesting to say the least. I've noticed older post get repeated sometimes. Is the original contributor re-posting or do other people do it.
That being said I do love this yellow e92 and would love to see some new pictures of it.
