I know that is not the case (the reps are probably told to tell customers that to avoid escalations and finally concessions) but I am having my prepaid legal service through work handle this now. I wanted to discuss my issue with a manager before going this route as it will be far less costly for them to replace my rotors ($1200) vs. paying their council to handle the case.
Get some PF01 pads and burn through those rotors then take the car back and see what they say

Final Update:

Good news, the Service Mgr stepped in to help me out with this issue. Basically my SA verified there were no signs on my car that it showed excessive heat/abuse of the rotors. Based on this the Service Mgr worked with the regional BMW rep and they approved replacement of my rotors. I'm glad to say everything worked out without me having to use a lawyer and the car drives and brakes wonderfully as it always should have.

Woah seems like it's been over two
Months. Did you have to do any followups? Or how did the manager step up to this?

Oh man...I'd be pissed! All of that drama just to have them state the obvious.

Glad it worked out!
