I "almost" ordered a dakar and last min changed my mind..... I might be regretting my decision now.

Your car looks awesome..... Exactly the way I would of ordered it sans DCT.

ps- what % tints are those, 35 ? 40 ?

40 all around except the windshield which is 50. be mindful that this is a ceramic film though (huper optik to be exact) so it will look a little different than a non-ceramic of the same percentage. hope that helps

Should've left well enough alone imo. The stock lights and tint look great on yellow.

Pilot. Your car looks great man. Only do what ultimately pleases you. If you're not a mod guy... then enjoy your car in stock form. But whatever you do, make sure to break that car in asap so you can truly unleash on it.

definitely. would love to check out your car also. eclipsis might be down too - he snagged the first monte carlo blue M3 in the states and is just about to take delivery.

Sasan, your car looks unreal; can't wait to see it in person. If it were me, I'd do satin finish on the wheels. The contrast against the yellow would be perfect, where gloss would throw off the contrast somehow.

The tint on the windshield looks phenomenal. Some colors beg to have the windshield tinted w/ the carbon roof, yellow being one of them.

Thanks guys! I'm so glad I picked up this color. It's not the yellow that everyone expects when they think of a yellow car. It's a softer more canary like yellow. Deep Blacks accent the color beatifully.

Every other car I've owned prior to this one has been manual. But two things made me go with DCT. 1) traffic . 2) the fact that the car can shift better than i can, means i can really tap into the car's potential in a way i couldn't were i the one rowing the gearbox.

Thanks. Tint is a personal preference thing. I can see both sides of the coin.

Totally made the right choice with satin. I'm going to ST next week to detail the car but taking delivery on the 20th.

I hate waiting but I've got the current M3 to keep me company for the time being.
