Also, with FI I think this car should be compared to the GT2/GT2RS, rather than the GT3RS at this point (and price).

Nahhh. I doubt it'll be more than $160,000. And even that is too much for an M3; even if it's 600 bhp. I have an X5M and it's $100k sticker price was worth it. Anything BMW is usually worth its price tag. 

or you can get the 705hp Hennessay zr1 which laps the nurburgring in 7:26 or 1/4 mile in 10.6 for half the price. Gpower must be smoking crack thinking this is the ultimate street car. Think everyone can guess that in that range of power ls7 is going to be much more reliable and still have room for improvement.

People will buy anything with a roundel on it tho so they will probably sell.

A supercharger kit would only be like $12k for this. The engine is already bored out, that's half of the battle. For the same price as a GT3RS you could get this with an insane amount more power. You wouldn't have the traction and amazing weight balance, but if you are the better driver, you would have it hands down once you take the straights in account.

Well, I'm sure this idea will go down well in Dubai. Otherwise, it's pretty silly, this car doesn't need more power, I think BMW guys knew best when tuning it.

Extremely sick.

There are some very fast cars in this world for under 100K like the Nissan GTR and Z06 Corvette. They are dandy until you have to deal with a service department that is geared to mass market junk. I used to drive a Corvette and felt like gagging every time I visited the Chevy dealer.

The brilliance of our M3s is having a damn capable STREET car that you can seat 4 (sometimes 5) in it and go to the beach but on the weekend you take it to the track and still have fun. But once you get into the 2 seater arena, GTR even with 600HP will have a load of competition especially with a hefty price tag that opens the buyer to a long list of other very capable track cars.
I say make the GTR MSRP 100K and smash the competitors!!

that car was not designed for 720 hp -- brakes, tires, suspension, cooling, aero, and tranny will all have to be revised. Why bother?

I'd much rather have a 458 Italia than a bright orange 3 series hot rod

This is not about the M3, it's about the M3 GTS G-Power which is over $200k.
That's what the topic is about so....

Keep in mind that these cars are also a fraction of the price of the M3 GTS AND they can easily be at 700-800 HP which would RAPE the GTS.
