I was just over on GTplanet looking at the threads about the Fanatec wheel delivery issues, and saw a guy talking about how he made another PSN account, and set his birthday to 01-01-1970 and it gifts you a car based on your birth year. He did deleted the saves in this profile and kept on doing this until he got the Toyota 2J. I am not sure if this acutally works or if you can delete a PSN profile. Can you?

There's a bunch of threads where people explain how to dupe race cars, it just seems too sketchy for me to even take them seriously. Plus I'd rather not cheat in GT5, but that's just me

I actually enjoy earning my cars legitimately. Feels more rewarding, even some prize cars sucked (e.g. they give you a Lupo after you bought a Lupo and Golden the Lupo race series...WTF???). even B-spec and S License was a bit frustrating.

Alright...I admit I cheated by pre-ordering the Collectors Edition and was given 5 Chrome line cars and SLS AMG Stealth....

Yeah, and I did a 4 hour endurance race in a Miata and got this fantastic piece of crap.

The prize cars kind of suck, but yes it's definitely more rewarding.

And that's not cheating, that's just accepting a gift from PD

Actually worked hard to get the Formula GT, and now looking forward to B-spec endurance races and just set BOB-AI go and wait for reward...if nothing goes horribly wrong....

Now crossing my fingers and hope my fat PS3 won't die on me or file corrupted...

Ya they really screw you for these tough races when it comes to prize cars. That is a fantastic pile of crap for 4 hours of your life.

I'm scared to death of that, thinking about trying to back up my data to a flash drive or something. I've gone too far to lose it all lol.

And I still hate B-spec, very much. I'm going to go far enough to get the Zonda and a few other nice cars that they can't just give you for driving yourself, not even thinking about doing an endurance race with mine.

All I know is a race like that in Forza 3 would have a million dollar prize and at least a race car to go with it

I think I did the 300km endurance race A-spec and all i got was 25000 Cr.....and some car....
I wish I can switch to B-spec during pitstop like GT4....

I think I should back up my game save data tonight...

Years ago my GT4 file was corrupted and I had to restart from scratch, gone all the way to 97%....I don't think I have that kind of commitment again...yah...back then I have no life...

slightly embarrassed to admit it, but I did the birthday trick to obtain the $20mil classic race cars. i knew i would never blow that wad on a classic, and I am not one to grind.

that being said, anyone wanna trade their FGT (PD or Ferrari) for a baller status classic car?

so far all my cars are legit that I got, hoping I can keep it that way

If nobody beats me to it ,once my b spec gets to level 40 (38.75 currently) I'll be able to send you the FGT

Ya, I agree with you on playing a game legit, but I'm not using those classics for any races so it's not as if I'm cheating with them. I just wanted to tinker around with them, snap some cool photos, etc. C'mon... 20 mil???

They are quite amazing on the track considering their age. Love the interior cockpit view as well. I can almost smell the history

nah I agree with you there, there's no other way you're getting multiple increments of 20 million...sorta silly. It took me leveling a b spec almost the whole way up to 40 just to get 20 million.

The duping is the really silly/cheating stuff, I hope PD deletes all duped cars

this brings back memories of "game genie" from my childhood. a lot of my friends would play with the genie and i'd sit there wondering why? i would feel like a total loser needing a cheater system to beat a game. where's the fun in that??
