Between New year's Day and a temperature in the low 30's the turn out was very light at today's Cars & Coffee Dallas. This was there though (Sooo nice):

Costa Rica wasn't particularly cheap the last time I went there (2009), but it's a lot of fun if you're the adventurous type

I went in 2000 or so with some class mates in high school... had a great time, and I can only imagine it would be more fun as an adult (Although in Costa Rica I guess 16 was old enough). I don't need the vacation to be cheap, but I do kind of want to feel like I'm getting that "Hey you want my US dollars!" bargain, if you know what I mean

The BMW CCA Lone Star Chapter drive/tour schedule through June has been posted over on the Lone Star Chapter forum: http://lscbmwcca.org/forum/Topic10974-4-1.aspx. Check it out. I can recommend the Zur Autobahn restaurant in Meridian (Saturday March 12). While BMW CCA membership is a good deal, you don't have to be a member to participate in the events.

Got my brake fluid flushed Friday at the dealer. They also replaced ac microfilter. No issues, waited an hour and a half or so (I don't like to leave the car), they were kind enough to "not wash" it at my request. Checked behind the wheels for any "retained" wrenches which, happily, were absent, and promptly pressure washed the wheels for any spilled brake fluid. Cheers to a "tension free" visit. Probably will do it myself next year, since thats the last complimentary one.

One of the first three (6 now?) LF-As in the US was spotted outside Eddie V's in Houston.

Looks like they took delivery at Westside Lexus.

Anyone see it yet? I'd prolly have a seizure and crash my car.

^Dude lives in River Oaks. I heard that thing while visiting my parents house. I know its constantly stated that a certain supercar sounds like an F1 car, but the LFA really does remind me of the sounds from when I attended the Monaco GP in 2007.

Another one of their neighbors recently added a white 458 to his collection. Complements his 16M well

I imagine I'd earn a few extra hours for being in an M3, but I think people would still get suspicious
