GREAT pics Matthew. I added you as a friend on FB. I also posted your HD video of your car spinning around on my wall

Your car looks amazing, white with CF roof and ZCP is a fantastic look.

Confirmed! Thanks for the compliments!

I had to pause on the steps to take that... It just looked unreal at the time. I wish I had the full revolution on video, I'd make it into a .gif and watch it all day.

Not to kill you brother, but the wait after doing an ED is 100x worse than ordering a car.

saw the pics on FB. very nice! so it looks like you didn't actually drive it out of the welt then? just took delivery and left it there for shipment? if so, probably a good idea with all the snow and gunk out on the roads. That was the one thing that was stopping me from doing ED during the winter. So I was waiting to do ED next March Then came the winter $1500 rebate plus the $500 price hike in the new year. So that $2k would effectively had made doing ED more expensive. So now I'm doing PCD hoping for late Feb early March date!

Such a tradeoff between PCD and ED. ED if you want to take a nice vacation and enjoy the great roads of Europe. PCD if you want a detailed in-depth run-through of your car (2hr walkthrough?? - Yes Please!!) and some great instruction on how to push it to the limit.

2011 M3 PCD
201X M5 ED

Done!!

^ You can do both the PCD and ED on the same car order.

You can. But you don't get the full 2hr walkthrough at the PC if it's re-delivery after an ED.

And why would you need it if they went over everything in Germany 6-8 weeks prior?

Congrats! Euro Delivery is an amazing experience. Next time you have to do it when you can actually drive on the roads! There's nothing like breaking-in the car through the Alps.

Good write up and thanks for the multimedia.

You have effectively ended any thought I had about a European delivery of my next M car as I will not tolerate the front license plate holes being drilled in to the bumper.

On another note, I am all for Global Warming when it means I can drive my E90 M3 with OEM summer tires on December 30th in Iowa.
