GT5 M3 07'

is it me, or is it when u play gt5 with the m3 it isnt the way its supposed to be. I mean the sound and physics is there, but the speed isnt. I remember seeing top gear or some youtube vid comparing the m3, lexus ISF, and c63 amg..and the m3 beat all those cars except for the c63 i think in 0 to 60 or something cuz of the torque. but i kno for sure it beat the freakn ISF but in the game when u race the m3 with the ISF in arcade mode, the lexus pulls hard as shit and always beats it ..have u noticed this???

And you're taking your friend seriously? It is a game. Not even a simulation, an arcade game..

Well GT5 is supposed to be the most realistic video game, physics-wise. It is probably assuming different levels of grip and the ISF is just getting better launches in the game. Plus the driver, transmission, air density, heat, etc. are all modeled.

For that matter you could modify the hell out of a Fiat 500 in GT5 to the point it will beat an M3. So you should have gone that route in real life too.

I also sometimes think I should have been a plumber since they can jump six times their height, smash mushroom guys and also beat up a giant turtles.

comparing the way cars accelerate in GT5 vs. real life is absolutely absurd. That being said, I'm really enjoying GT5 right now

You should just be happy the M3 even made it in to the game...

I heard the 335i didn't make it due to the inability to accurately replicate the HPFP issues, consistently.

Even better than that; the 335iS was so fast they couldn't even put it in the game...crazy I know!

Oh yeah, that's why the game was late and finally they gave up.

The real truth is: The game was late because the needed to add a trailor for GT6; I found that out when I picked up the game

Back on point: I heard there was also an issue being able to effectively issue an HPFP recall in GT5, games are getting quite realistic...

Well, if it makes any difference, I have yet to match my "Ring" time in the game with my "real life" times. The M3 in GT5 requires several modes (including weight reduction) to feel like the real car. Additionally, the DCT software sucks in the game

I switched to an Audi R8.
